3rd ESA–ESRIC Space Resources Challenge · Participant Support Offer

CATs&DOG® for the Space Resources Challenge

DO MORE WITH LESS — BY GEOMETRY.

Your technology. Our geometry.

A Challenge-specific participant support offer by 4 Earth 2 Mars Holding B.V.

ViewCapture20260803_084457.png

ONE GEOMETRY PLATFORM. MANY TECHNOLOGIES.

You bring the material, manufacturing and robotic construction technology.
We provide the geometry.

CATs&DOG® is not tied to a single material or production method. Its geometry can provide a common construction framework for teams exploring different approaches to lunar resource utilisation, fabrication, assembly and autonomous construction.

By giving Challenge participants access to the same geometry platform, teams can focus their effort on what differentiates them: how efficiently their technology can produce, assemble and use it.

MATERIAL

Regolith-derived materials, composites, binders and other candidate material systems.

FABRICATION

Additive manufacturing, moulding, forming, cutting and other production approaches.

ROBOTIC CONSTRUCTION

Robotic handling, assembly, disassembly,  repair and reconfiguration.

Different technologies. A common geometric reference.

How to Purchase Challenge Access

Choose the CATs&DOG® geometry that best fits your Challenge approach and complete the corresponding Challenge Access Fee through the Select This Geometry button.

The displayed fee is the initial payment for the selected Challenge package and excludes VAT and shipping. After purchase, 4 Earth 2 Mars will confirm your participating organisation, billing details, VAT status and delivery destination. Any applicable VAT and shipping costs will be calculated separately and included in the final balance before dispatch.

Purchase provides access to the selected geometry under the applicable Challenge-use licence and conditions described below.

This participant support offer is available exclusively to teams participating in the 3rd ESA–ESRIC Space Resources Challenge.

By selecting a geometry and completing payment, you confirm that you have reviewed and agree to the CATs&DOG® Challenge Licence & Use Conditions applicable to this participant support offer.

ARCHITECTURAL GEOMETRY 05

Circular Adaptive Landing Platform

Short description

CATs&DOG® low-profile architectural geometry designed to explore a dual-function lunar infrastructure concept: an elevated surface above for landing-pad-related applications and protected operational space beneath. Challenge-wide Strategic Licence

€24,200 excl. VAT & shipping

Includes Challenge Phases 1–3

Includes a non-exclusive, non-transferable Challenge-specific licence covering Phases 1–3. No additional CATs&DOG® continuation licence fee is required for this geometry when progressing from Phase 1 to Phase 2 or Phase 3.

Why a Challenge-wide licence?

This geometry explores a potentially multi-functional infrastructure approach combining a landing-related upper surface, protected space beneath, low-profile construction, 12-point ground interaction, and a system built from only two module families. We prefer to support continuity of development with a team interested in taking the geometry beyond initial evaluation rather than treating each Challenge phase as a separate transaction.

Also included

4 × 45-minute private online geometry sessions

CHALLENGE LICENCE & USE CONDITIONS

IP and Use Rights

All CATs&DOG® background geometry, designs, methods and associated intellectual property remain the property of 4 Earth 2 Mars Holding B.V.

Challenge licences are non-exclusive, non-transferable, geometry-specific and phase-specific, except for the Circular Adaptive Landing Platform Challenge-wide licence described below.

Because Challenge licences are non-exclusive, 4 Earth 2 Mars may make the same or related CATs&DOG® geometries available to other participating teams.

A Challenge licence permits the participating team to use the selected geometry for evaluation, development, testing, submission and presentation related to the applicable phase of the 3rd ESA–ESRIC Space Resources Challenge.

The licence does not transfer ownership of CATs&DOG® IP and does not provide rights to the wider CATs&DOG® geometry library, underlying parametric rules, source design files or other protected system knowledge unless separately agreed.

Participating teams retain ownership of their own pre-existing materials, binders, manufacturing methods, robotics, software, processes and other background IP.

Any jointly developed foreground IP arising from deeper collaboration with 4 Earth 2 Mars will be addressed separately before such joint development begins.

Challenge-Specific Conditions

These licences, prices and participant benefits apply exclusively to teams participating in the 3rd ESA–ESRIC Space Resources Challenge.

The Challenge rates are preferential access conditions intended to enable participating teams to evaluate and develop CATs&DOG® geometry alongside their own material, fabrication and autonomous/robotic construction technologies.

They are not retail prices for the physical paper models and do not represent the general commercial value of CATs&DOG® geometry or intellectual property.

The Challenge licence does not provide rights for use in another ESA programme, Horizon Europe project, national programme, research project, industrial demonstration or commercial application.

Any use, joint R&D, development or commercial application outside the Challenge requires a separate project-specific licence or collaboration agreement and is not priced on the basis of these Challenge rates.

Challenge access and continuation rights remain subject to payment of the applicable Challenge Access Fee or continuation licence fee and compliance with these conditions.

HOW CHALLENGE ACCESS CONTINUES

CATs&DOG® Challenge access is designed to allow participating teams to begin with Phase 1 evaluation and, where the geometry proves useful to their approach, continue through later Challenge phases under clear, pre-defined terms.

Phase 1 — Evaluate the Geometry

The Challenge Access Fee shown for the selected geometry provides the Phase 1 package and licence described in its offer.

Participating teams may book additional Challenge-related online geometry sessions at 75% below our standard conversation rate during Phase 1.

Phase 2 — Continue Development

If a team progresses to Phase 2 and wishes to continue using the selected CATs&DOG® geometry, or a configuration materially derived from it, a €1,000 Phase 2 continuation licence applies.

The licence permits continued use specifically within Phase 2 of the 3rd ESA–ESRIC Space Resources Challenge.

Additional Challenge-related online geometry sessions remain available at 75% below our standard conversation rate.

Phase 3 — Demonstrate and Advance

If a team progresses to Phase 3 and continues using the selected CATs&DOG® geometry, or a configuration materially derived from it, a €10,000 Phase 3 continuation licence applies.

The licence permits continued use specifically within Phase 3 of the Challenge.

Additional Challenge-related online geometry sessions are available at 50% below our standard conversation rate.

Strategic Licence Exception

Architectural Geometry 05 — Circular Adaptive Landing Platform is offered under a €24,200 Challenge-wide Strategic Licence covering Phases 1–3.

No additional CATs&DOG® Phase 2 or Phase 3 continuation licence fee is required for this geometry within the Challenge.

Optional Development Collaboration

The Challenge licence gives a participating team the right to use the selected geometry within the applicable Challenge phase. It does not require the team to purchase additional professional services from 4 Earth 2 Mars.

Where a team would like us to participate directly in geometry adaptation, integration, prototyping or further development, a separate professional collaboration can be agreed.

For selected Phase 2 and Phase 3 collaborations, 4 Earth 2 Mars may provide up to 1:1 in-kind co-investment of professional development time, subject to technical fit, agreed scope and availability.
